THE CLASSICIAL HOMOEOPATHIC WAY OF APPROACH
Each and every case is dealt in the classical way of Homoeopathy, which is the ideal cure i.e. rapid, gentle & permanent cure. As stated by the Organon (the principle book of Homoeopathy) "Single Remedy, Single Dose", the treatment is based on the symptoms presented for each particular case.
The prescription may be based on the causative factor or on the totality of symptoms or the peculiar characteristic symptom or on the constitution basis or on the family history.
The prescription will be based on the past history, miasmatic causation. Nosodes also help either to treat the case or open up the case especially the suppressed/one-sided cases. The clinical Hahnemannian classification of diseases help to choose the method of the prescription.
The Second prescription mostly follows the Kent 12 observations.
It is also checked that this prescription is suitable for the present complaints using the "Cross - Check Symptom" method. The usage of the "Cross-Check Symptom" method can be better understood by the following example
Symptom: A Patient having a temperature (with chills) since a day, has no thirst and less appetite. The temperature is because the patient had been working day - night shifts and was in close vicinity of an A.C.
On examination, the red triangular tip of tongue, the remedy can be given. However it would be more effective if the "Cross- Check Symptom" method would be used.
CROSS CHECK SYMPTOM is such that which may not indicate the remedy but, it supports the choice of the remedy, with which we can assure the patient confidently about the cure. It also boosts up the confidence of the physician specially for the new practitioners gives the key ‘for the waiting’ till the patient returns, whether pt is cured or not, or the remedy is correct or wrong.
